When you left us

I felt so low

Ice cold
at the bottom of the sea

Forevermore

Changes come
and we can’t stop them

So hold these memories tight
and never drop them

Some people are learning to die

Of mine
That ended up being about
A rabbit

Still waters run deep
You wrote to me

Dark hair in a messy bun
Glasses perched
On the end of your nose

Gesturing wildly
Always made you look
Beautiful and passionate

How can you know
How much you inspired me?
